ECO-FRIENDLY Manufactured using a minimum of 70% recycled PET Bottles & also recyclable at the end of its life. It's completely safe and does not require any protective clothing or face mask for handling during installation. Crisp and Clear Acoustics insulation products are made from 100% polyester fibre bonded using heat instead of traditional chemical binders.

Fire Retardant

Polyester is fire resistant material - it requires quite a high temperature to burn. However, fires can still occur due to poor installation of polyester particularly where batts cover downlights & ceiling fans which can cause them to overheat. Polyester fibre Wool / Wadding are nonflammable and meet all the relevant fire standards & compliance. It does not contribute to flame spread.

MOISTURE Resistance

Our products are not affected by moisture, mould or mildew which means no nasty odours. Consistent performance is ensured over its lifetime. Polyester fibre Wool / Wadding not affected by moisture, snow or mild-dew; naturally resistant to insect and vermin attack and exceeds all requirement of any Building Code.

Polyester is safe for food and does not "leach" any chemicals. We employ the same polyester fiber that's used in bedding and clothes. No gasses or chemicals that deplete the ozone layer are present in or produced by polyester fibers. In addition, they have no smell and very little volatile organic compounds (VOCs). "No more toxic than wood" is how polyester is categorized.
